RHEOLOGY CONTROL

FLOPRINT thickeners for reactive dies offer a number of advantages, namely:

• It hold the paste on the screen
• It allows the paste to pass through the screen when the shearing force is applied
• It controls the amount of paste that is transferred
• It builds up the viscosity quickly after the shearing force is removed
• It holds the paste in position on the cloth against capillary forces, preventing flushing or bleeding
• It allows the paste to penetrate to the required extent, (for substantive dye printing allowing the dye to enter the fiber, or for pigment printing, allowing the binder to crosslink)

SNF has also developed a range of functional polymers for the cosmetics, dredging, construction and cement manufacturing sectors.
